Every program involving minors follows defined parental-consent, communication, privacy and child-safeguarding procedures. Participants are treated with dignity; personal circumstances are never used to label or diminish anyone.
Key protections
- Documented parental or guardian consent before participation and before any publication of identifying information.
- Defined communication protocols for all mentoring involving minors.
- Screening and conduct requirements for staff, mentors and volunteers.
- Donor engagement is managed through Empower2Succeed; donors do not receive unrestricted access to minors.
- A confidential, anonymous-capable reporting channel, with safeguarding concerns prioritized immediately.
