About the organization
What is Empower2Succeed?
A social-impact organization that helps capable, hardworking young people from rural and under-resourced communities access education, preparation, mentorship and career opportunities.
Where does Empower2Succeed operate?
Initial programs focus on Billawar and surrounding areas of Kathua district, Jammu and Kashmir. Selected digital mentoring and partnership programs may eventually reach other regions.
Is Empower2Succeed a registered charity?
Our charitable registrations are in progress. Registration details and documents will be published on our Governance & Transparency page as they are issued. Donation and tax-receipt functionality will be activated once registrations are complete.
For applicants and families
Is Empower2Succeed only for students with the highest marks?
No. Academic performance is one consideration, alongside aptitude, effort, discipline, circumstances, leadership potential and the likely impact of support.
Does every applicant receive financial assistance?
No. Some participants primarily need guidance, mentoring, preparation or exposure. Financial assistance depends on verified need, program fit and available resources.
Does Empower2Succeed guarantee admission, selection or a job?
No. We help candidates prepare and create credible introductions, but admission, selection and hiring decisions rest with the relevant institutions.
Is there an application fee?
No. Empower2Succeed never charges a fee to apply, and no individual can guarantee selection. Do not make payments to anyone claiming to represent us.
Can parents apply on behalf of a child? Can someone recommend an applicant?
Yes to both. Parents or legal guardians may apply for a minor and are involved throughout assessment and consent. Teachers, schools, employers and community members may submit referrals; recommendations do not guarantee selection.
Can girls and young women apply?
Yes. We are committed to safe, credible pathways for girls and young women, designed together with their families.
How long can a participant receive support?
Potentially several years, depending on the approved success plan, progress, resources and continued eligibility.
Is money paid directly to participants?
Where practical, payments go directly to schools, colleges, coaching institutions, examination authorities, accommodation providers or approved vendors.
For supporters and partners
Can I sponsor a particular child?
Contributors may support defined programs or approved participant needs. To safeguard privacy and dignity, all arrangements are managed through Empower2Succeed.
Can I volunteer or mentor remotely?
Yes. Remote mentoring, English practice, resume reviews, mock interviews, digital training and professional workshops are all welcomed, including from the diaspora. See Get Involved.
Can companies provide internships, jobs or CSR funding?
Yes. See Corporate & CSR Partnerships for partnership models, or contact us to discuss internships, apprenticeships and workplace exposure.
How does Empower2Succeed measure impact?
Through verified milestones: educational continuation, examinations, certifications, skills, internships, employment, income progression and longer-term participant outcomes. See Our Impact.
How do I report a concern?
Concerns about participant safety, misuse of funds, conflicts of interest or inappropriate conduct can be raised through our Contact page. All reports are handled seriously and confidentially.
